The Phi Phi Islands in Thailand
The biggest Islands are Phi Phi Don and
Phi Phi Le and they are also the largest
and most popular islands.
Phi Phi Don is 28 sqm: 8 km in length and 3.5 km wide.
Phi Phi Le is 6.6km
The Phi Phi Islands are located 50 km south-east of
Phuket and they are part of the famous Hadnopparattara-Koh
Phi Phi National Park.
Back in 2004 the Tsunami had left a very destructive
impact on the Phi Phi Islands, but reconstruction
has been completed thanks to industrious
efforts of the local community which keeps
on prospering very well.
Sailing is superb especially around December,
January and February and all types of vessels
and sailing boats can be chartered on Phuket.
